Two cream dilution genes - a homozygous cream - has a "double dilute" effect, lightening both red and black hair on the horse's body and points. A bay horse becomes a perlino, a chestnut a cremello, and a black becomes a smoky cream. Double dilutes have pink skin and blue eyes. All of their offspring will be cream dilutes.
